ABSHIRO FOUNDATION is a U.S.-based humanitarian and development organization founded in Bloomington, Minnesota, with a global mission to support Somali families and communities locally in back home.

We are driven by the belief that every person deserves access to food, education, healthcare, and opportunity — regardless of where they live. Our foundation works to empower women, children, and vulnerable families through programs that build self-reliance, dignity, and sustainable livelihoods.

From our base in the United States, we collaborate with partners, volunteers, and community leaders in Somalia and across the Somali diaspora to design and deliver impact-driven solutions that address poverty, hunger, and inequality.
